"Red Velvet" - Maple and African Padauk
The beauty of the orange/red Paduak wood against the brilliant white Maple is stunning. It is made from edge grain Hard Maple and African Paduak. Hard Maple is sourced from the forests of New York state where we are based. The Paduak wood is shipped in special for these boards.

NOTE: Each board is a little different as the trees themselves are so unique but all will have Maple with 2 strips of Padauk wood.

Secondary Wood Species - African Paduak
This style board will be between 1 and just under 1.5 inches thick. Final Thickness depends on stock 8/4 lumber received.
All boards are soaked in mineral oil (helps prevent bacteria growth) and coated with our special blend of 100% beeswax and food grade mineral oil.
